Study our MTh by joining one of our Online Learning Communities
Through our approved Online Learning Communities, Union aims to serve the Church by providing an affordable and flexible option for in-depth theological education and formation. Our state-of-the-art online platform makes this possible as never before and, with excellent mentors, provides learning in community without requiring you to relocate.
The Lead Mentor is TBC.
Students join their learning community’s Zoom sessions for up to a total of 15 hours across each fortnight ‘intensive’. It is up to students how they spread their remaining study time outside of these sessions. Essays are due 7 weeks after the essay title is given.
Students may substitute one Learning Community course per year for an in-person intensive course at our South Wales Ministry Centre, or 3 weeks of Biblical Languages in person or via Zoom.
Learning Community timings are based on GMT/BST times, but applicants from across the world are welcome to apply if the group’s schedule works for them.
What can you study here?
Online MTh B – UK/Europe/Africa - Intensive: students at this Learning Community study the MTh over 3 years - six pre-allocated taught courses over two years (3 intensive fortnights per year: September, January & March), with an additional year to submit their dissertation.
