Application procedures

Please read this page carefully before applying for a course with Union. The information here is designed to help make the process as easy as possible.

On campus...

If you would like to find out more about studying on campus, we recommend attenting an open day. Information on forthcoming open days can be found in the News & Events section. These days provide an opportunity to look around the Union Campus, sit in on sample lectures, meet staff and students, ask questions and discuss the issues you’re thinking through. Please book your place here. Overnight accommodation is available at the Union Campus (subject to availability).

In Learning Communities...

To find out more about a particular Learning Community, see the information in the Locations section. Various courses are offered worldwide, and conftact information for each lead mentor can be found there.

International Students

UST holds a Tier 4 license from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) so we are able to welcome students from outside the EU. If you are an International Student please read the further information supplied here to ensure that you meet the requirements of the UKVI. If you require us to issue a CAS there will be an additional £20 administration fee.

How to apply

Once you have submitted your application form, along with a £35 application fee (non refundable), you will receive confirmation of receipt from us. When we have received your application and references, we will contact you to invite you to an interview with academic staff, these are often held via Skype. Normally, we will let you know our decision immediately after the interview.
