Get started: Priscilla Programme
The Priscilla Programme is designed for women who serve their local churches in voluntary ministries. Inspired by Priscilla in Acts 18:26, it helps women to learn how to teach other women 'more accurately', care for others more biblically, and give reasons for their faith and hope.
Courses include Old Testament, New Testament, Doctrine, Evangelism & Apologetics, Church History, Ethics & Pastoral Care.
Get started: MA Bridging Courses
If you do not have a degree, you can still apply for the MA programme. You will need to complete four ‘MA Bridging’ courses with us to do this. Simply complete a regular MA application, and our team will give you the relevant information to start your Bridging Course studies, if appropriate.
The Bridging Courses will be available from spring 2026 in preparation for an August 2026 MA start date.
Bridging Course information and Certification
These courses are designed by UST to orientate you and help upskill you to US MA entry standards, including reading and writing expectations. They also give you a taste of our theology. These Level 4/5 courses are credit-bearing, meaning that you will receive a certificate and digital badge on successful completion of each one. If you successfully complete all four courses, we will support your application to the MA programme.
Time commitments
You can complete the courses at your own pace and at your own time. Each course is worth 2 ECTS credits and should take around 50-60 hours to complete, and contains 3 video series, as well as some required reading. You should therefore budget around 200 hours to complete the whole bridging programme.
What do I have to do?
After you have been given access to the courses, you will need to watch the videos and do the required reading, and complete the necessary quizzes. The final piece of assessment for each course is to write an essay. Details of the courses are given below.
Course 1: Introduction to theological education
In this course we orient you to the UST approach to theological education, and also to the key skills of reading and writing in theology. This course sets you up to do the 3 courses described below.
Course 2: Introduction to theological studies
This course focuses on key aspects of UST’s theological commitments, covering 3 of the following sets of videos: The Trinity, The New Birth, Justification by Faith, and a course especially designed for women.
Course 3: Introduction to biblical studies
We not only introduce the Bible in this course (Enjoying Scripture, Bible Introduction); we also give you the opportunity to spend more focused time on one particular book of the Bible (either Psalms or Ephesians).
Course 4: Introduction to pastoral and ministry studies
Pastoral ministry is at the heart of what we do. The video series in this course are Joyful Perseverance in Leading, Gospel-centred Leadership and A Theology of Purposeful Preaching.
If you successfully complete all 4 courses we will support your application to the MA programme. Please note, however, that Kairos University makes the final decision on applications.
