Biblical Languages - Beginner to Advanced learning options
Whatever your previous experience of studying a Biblical Language, we have a class for you!
Currently, individual languages modules are non-accredited but we advise taking these module as assessed and completing the assignments, to get the most out of your studies.
Duration: one academic year per course.
Beginner classes are held weekly - get in touch for details.
Intermediate & Advanced classes - see the MTh programme page for schedule details.
Delivery: in-person at our Ministry Centre, or via Zoom. Students must be able to join the classes at the scheduled times - recordings are not available.
Time commitment: around 200 hours per course, consisting of approx. 60 hours of lectures for Beginner classes, and approx. 20 hours for Intermediate & Advanced classes, plus homework. (Students must complete both the formative and summative assignments, and in order to get the most out of your studies and enable you to progress to the next level, we advise taking these modules as assessed.)
Entry requirements: all students are given preparation information to complete a pre-test for the relevant level. We encourage you to attend our next Biblical Languages Open Evening to find out more about each level’s entry requirements.
Fees: view the Shorter Courses fee sheet on our Fees & Funding page. If you are a current student or alumnus, please contact us for fee details, and use your existing Classter account to apply for additional modules.
