Diwrnod Daniel Rowland Day

Join us at the Daniel Rowland Day to discuss the vision for the Daniel Rowland Network and Centre. We’ll begin with an opportunity to consider Welsh language training and how to foster co-operation between pastors, leaders and church planters in Wales, especially in Welsh language and bilingual contexts. Following lunch, we’ll be able to hear more about the Daniel Rowland Centre, get a chance to browse its library collection, and have a taste of current Welsh church history research.
We’re also delighted to announce a reception to give thanks for the J. Elwyn Davies papers coming to the archives at Union School of Theology, and to acknowledge those who have contributed to the Daniel Rowland Centre library and its special collections.
The Daniel Rowland Day will have Welsh and English language contributions with simultaneous translation available. In order to ensure we have enough equipment would you please tick the appropriate box if you wish to have translation from Welsh into English?
The Daniel Rowland Day will be held at Union School of Theology’s Ministry Centre, Bryntirion House, Bridgend, CF31 4DX.

Ymunwch â ni ar gyfer Diwrnod Daniel Rowland i drafod cynlluniau Rhwydwaith a Chanolfan Daniel Rowland. Bydd y dydd yn dechrau gan roi sylw i hyfforddiant Cymraeg a sut i annog cyd-weithio pellach rhwng gweinidogion, arweinwyr a phlanwyr eglwysi yng Nghymru, yn enwedig mewn cyd-destunau Cymraeg a dwyiethiog. Yn y prynhawn cawn glywed mwy am weledigaeth Canolfan Daniel Rowland, cyfle i weld y llyfrgell, a chael blas ar waith ymchwil cyfoes ar hanes yr eglwys yng Nghymru.
Braint hefyd fydd cael diolch yn swyddogol am dderbyn papurau’r diweddar J. Elwyn Davies i archifau Ysgol Ddiwinyddiaeth Union, ac i gydnabod y rhai sydd wedi cyfrannu at Ganolfan Daniel Rowland a’i chasgliadau arbennig.
Bydd y diwrnod yn cynnwys cyfraniadau yn Gymraeg a Saesneg gyda chyfieithu ar y pryd ar gael i unrhyw un sy’n dymuno.
Bydd Diwrnod Daniel Rowland yn cael ei gynnal yng Nghanolfan Gweinidogaeth Union ym Mryntirion, Pen y Bont ar Ogwr, CF31 4DX.
