Natalie Brand to be Tutor for Women
We’re very pleased to announce that Natalie Brand has been appointed as our new Tutor for Women.
Natalie said, "I am grateful for the opportunity to support Union's growing number of female students through their academic studies, whilst continuing in my teaching role. This is a ground-breaking role as Union seeks to strategically encourage and enable women, within its confessional tradition, to pursue theology as an academic discipline. I hope to build upon this commitment, demonstrated in Union's Priscilla course and Phoebe scholarships, to see women trained as church workers, ministry wives, teachers, writers and scholars throughout the world."
Natalie completed her PhD at UST which was published as Complementarian Spirituality: Reformed Women and Union with Christ. She has also written Prone to Wander and The Good Portion – The Doctrine of Salvation for Every Women, which has just been released. Natalie is married to Tom who is the Ministry Director of the Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches.
