Steve Midgley joins UST Adjunct Faculty

Steve Midgley, Executive Director of Biblical Counselling UK, will be joining Union School of Theology’s Adjunct Faculty from September 2023, sharing his expertise and rich insight from biblical counselling with our students on one of our new MTh modules.

He was, until recently the vicar of Christ Church Cambridge, where he continues to serve on the staff part-time. He is a board member for CCEF and on the council of the Biblical Counselling Coalition. Before ordination, he trained as a psychiatrist. He is married to Beth and they have three adult children.

Steve said: “At BCUK our vision is for the development of the very best pastoral care in our churches. Knowing this is also central to Union’s vision, I am delighted to be joining as Adjunct Faculty. In recent years a couple of the staff at our church have taken courses with Union and I know just how much they have appreciated the training they’ve received. I am grateful for this opportunity to contribute to the excellent training Union offers.”
